We're over the moon for allParenting contributor and actress-author Tori Spelling, who welcomed a son on Thursday. This is the fourth baby for the 39-year-old Craft Wars host and her husband, actor Dean McDermott.

Congrats to our very own Tori Spelling, who gave birth to her fourth child on Thursday. Baby boy Finn Davey McDermott was born at 5:39 p.m. and weighed in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces. He's 20 inches long. We couldn't be happier for Spelling and husband Dean McDermott.

Little Finn joins siblings 5-year-old Liam, 4-year-old Stella and 10-month-old Hattie. He also has a half-brother, 13-year-old Jack, who is McDermott's son from his first marriage. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum announced her son's arrival at in a post titled "It's a Boy!!" She also tweeted the news to fans.

"We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family!" wrote Spelling.

Spelling and McDermott didn't know if they would be welcoming a boy or a girl until Finn arrived because they decided to wait to find out the sex of their little surprise baby. Spelling announced she was pregnant with Finn in March, when Hattie was only 5-months-old.

Spelling has come a long way from the days of playing Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210. She's author of several books, including CelebraTORI, which was released on April 3. She's also host and executive producer of Craft Wars on TLC, a crafting competition show.

Spelling met McDermott while filming a Lifetime TV movie, Mind Over Murder. They were married less than a year later on May 7, 2006 in Fiji.

Words from Daddy

On Friday morning at, Finn's Daddy shared his letter to the new baby, written the night before the birth.

“Well it’s the night before your entrance into this crazy, whacky, amazing world full of joy, good times and bad times, great love and loss, amazing friends and foes. And that’s just your brothers and sisters. They’re full of love, laughter and energy. Quite frankly they’re absolutely bonkers, but you’re going to love them. Mom and Dad are a bit kooky too, that’s how we roll. Not to worry though; we’ll grow on you after a while. So strap on you’re onesy, it’s going to be a wild ride.”
