For moms, caring for their children is the biggest, most important job in the world. And many of us learned what we know from our own moms. In honor of Mother's Day, I asked allParenting writers to share photos of themselves with their moms, along with their favorite memories. We are moms ourselves now, but we still love our mommies!

wedding rush
This is a picture of my mom, Melinda, and me at my brother's wedding a few years ago. Besides being one of my favorite photos of the two of us, I also love the story that goes with it. We had gone to Santa Barbara a few days before the wedding to spend some time together, but were running really late getting up to San Luis Obispo for the ceremony. I had no idea that my mom could drive that fast as we barreled up the 101! We got to the ceremony, changed our clothes in the parking lot, slapped on some makeup in the rear view mirrors and ran to where the wedding was being held... only to find out that we actually had more than enough time. I still laugh thinking about it.
