You know the mom. She's got it all going on — she's crafty, well dressed and rested! And you want to be her! Well that's how we're feeling about some mom bloggers out there — the ones that know just how to capture the nuances of their children, the beautiful flaws of motherhood, the fine line between the heartaches and the heartwarming. We're shining the light on mom bloggers we want to copy!

Mom Behind it^Jill Smokler

Why we love it^It makes us laugh at ourselves, one parenting mistake at a time. Plus, we love the scary mommy confessional, an anonymous place where you can confess your mommy sins.

Scary Mommy, A.K.A. Jill Smokler, started her blog as an online baby book about her stay-at-home mom days with her three children (Lily, 9, Ben, 7 and Evan, 5) which quickly grew into a community of parents who appreciated her point of view: Parenting doesn't have to be perfect. One New York Times Bestselling parenting book later (Confessions of a Scary Mommy: An honest and Irreverant Look at Motherhood- The Good, the Bad and the Scary) and a second book just released (Motherhood Comes Naturally: And Other Vicious Lies), Smokler continues to make moms laugh with her unabashed honesty.

Mom Behind it^Crissy

Why we love it^It's chock full of helpful mom tips about everything from the latest mommy products to yummy recipes to make for the family.

Crissy, a work-at-home mom of two and photographer, writes not only about her love of being a mom, with fun posts about everything from her daughter's first haircut to her first birthday party, but also about tons of other things that would pique any mom's interest — like her section on family meals. Think: Skinny Cow ice cream treats for mom and baked parmesan fish bites for the kids. Not only does she walk you through how to make simple but yummy family meals, but she takes gorgeous pictures, too.

Mom Behind it^Wendy Flynn

Why we love it^It's so inspirational, it makes us want to run a marathon!

Started after she quit her job to stay home with her special-needs son, One Tough Mother Runner is not just about motherhood, but it's focused on Flynn's love of the last year, running (she's training for her first half-marathon now). A self-proclaimed running evangelist who says her mission is to inspire other women to run, Flynn has succeeded in encouraging a ton of other moms to dig out their running shoes. And her kids have even gotten in on the action. Her oldest daughter, 11, is in her school's running club, and her middle daughter, 9, started her own running club at her elementary school. An inspirational blog that's about so much more than getting in shape after having kids, it's one you'll definitely want to bookmark.

Crappy Pictures

Mom Behind it^Amber Dusick

Why we love it^A picture really is worth 1,000 words — especially a cartoon depicting a funny mommy moment!

Amber Dusick says she started her blog because she needed a place to vent. Because she didn't have a photographer following her around all days, she started drawing what she calls "crappy pictures" to depict her days as a mom to her two young sons. She draws cartoons of everything from going to the doctor to trying to clean with her toddler in the room. Her site was so popular that she wrote a book: Parenting: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures. We highly recommend the book trailer, too!
