Malibu Treatment

Cost: $21

To take care of summer hair, Shannon Pelzel recommends having a Malibu Treatment. She says, "A Malibu Treatment removes chlorine and hard water buildup and makes the hair squeaky clean." In a Malibu Treatment a packet of Malibu hair treatment consisting of granules often referred to as a "crystal gel" are mixed with water and rubbed into the hair. Stylists usually allow the Malibu Treatment to process under a hair dryer for approximately 40 minutes.

Brazilian Blowout Split End Treatment

Cost: $30 -$50

To take care of summer hair, Megan Soule recommends having The Brazilian Blowout Split End Treatment. She says, "The Brazilian Blowout Split End Treatment is a great way to start and finish the summer season. It coats the ends of the hair leaving the ends repaired and able to be blown out smoothly without much work." The Brazilian Blowout Split End Treatment only takes approximately 10 minutes from start to finish. The solution is dusted onto the bottom two to three inches of the hair. The hair is then combed through (to ensure each strand is coated with reparative nutrients to mend and seal where the cuticle is split or broken), blown dry and flat ironed to lock in the product and seal the ends. Once the flat iron step is finished, the treatment is complete and you can wash your hair, exercise, put your hair in a clip, ponytail or bun without worry.
