One of the best things about the holiday season is the opportunity to entertain your family and friends. Whether you trade gifts or simply trade stories, these gatherings are what brings the holidays home. No matter what you are serving, we have a festive sangria that fits the bill.

Rachel Voorhees is a Court of Master Certified Sommelier and allParenting writer. "Sangria is not just for those summer barbecues," she shares. "While it's a warm-weather staple at my house, I also love making sangria for holiday parties as well. Using holiday spices and seasonal ingredients, such as pomegranates and cranberries, you can create a festive and delicious sangria." The only question is... red or white?

VOGA Italia's sangria

  • 2 sliced apricots
  • 1 container of fresh raspberries
  • 1 sliced Granny Smith apple
  • 1 sliced lemon

  2. Add the sliced peach, apricot, apple, lemon and lime.
  3. Add the Triple Sec and stir gently.

  5. Before serving, top with the club soda.
  6. Stir gently and serve over ice.
