It takes just minutes to make and is full of protein, fiber and tasty fruits to keep you and the kids full for the first few hours of your day. Want to bump up the healthy factor in your smoothie? Add in some hemp seeds before blending. They are a great source of protein and minerals to keep your body feeling great. Creamy strawberry mango smoothie with rolled oats

Serves 1 to 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 mango, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup strawberries, washed and tops removed
  • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup uncooked rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (try homemade almond milk), adjust the amount based on desired consistency of smoothie
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons hemp seeds

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high to desired consistency.
  2. Pour into 1 large or 2 small glasses and enjoy.
