Hot summer months call for a cool cocktail recipe, and sipping on a fruity drink like a strawberry margarita made of mouthwatering sorbet couldn't make this cocktail any easier. Using any flavor of sorbet you'd like, from lime to mango to strawberry, blend up this sorbet margarita recipe and get the party started.

  • Sugar or salt
  • 3 scoops sorbet in the flavor of your choice
  • 1 shot tequila
  • 1/2 shot triple sec
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • Strawberry or fruit matching your sorbet flavor for garnish

  1. First, pour salt or sugar on a small plate, dampen the rim of your margarita glass and rub the wet rim of your glass in the sugar or salt. Set aside.
  2. Next, place your sorbet, tequila, triple sec and powdered sugar in your blender. You can increase the recipe according to how many margaritas you're planning to serve up.
  3. Then, blend your margarita recipe on low until all of your ingredients are combined; be careful not to blend it too long or it will become foamy.
  4. Finally, pour your sorbet cocktail recipe into your sugar or salt-rimmed margarita glass, garnish with fruit slices and give cheers to a delicious drink.

Note^ Whether you want strawberry margaritas or any other flavor, to make your sorbet cocktail margarita recipe on the fly, you can just add the scoops of sorbet to a glass, pour the tequila and triple sec over the sorbet and serve with a spoon — no blender or powdered sugar necessary.
